Bryan Bentrott is the founder and principal of Summit Development Corporation, a seasoned industrial real estate development firm located in Newport Beach, California. He leads the firm in its acquisition, entitlement, development, and construction of high quality industrial real estate assets in Southern California’s Inland Empire markets.

With over 30 years of industry experience, Bryan has established a proven track record of successfully developing and constructing a diverse range of industrial products. His portfolio includes multi-tenant industrial parks and mid-size to large single-tenant distribution warehouse facilities. Bryan is widely recognized as an industry leader and a reliable partner, known for his high-level expertise, vision, and commitment to executing complex development projects.

Bryan established Summit Development in 2014 with a mission to entitle a 97-acre parcel in the Inland Empire known as The Ranch at Eastvale. Since the completion of The Ranch, Summit Development has entitled over one million square feet of commercial real estate space across five industrial projects. The firm prides itself on its dedication to land stewardship. It collaborates closely with brokers, landowners, city staff, equity partners, and other stakeholders to create exemplary industrial real estate assets that support local community goals and sustained economic growth.

Before founding Summit Development, Bryan enjoyed a distinguished 18-year career with Master Development Corporation (MDC) and DEXUS Property Group (DEXUS). He co-founded MDC, a Southern California-based industrial development investment firm, and served as senior vice president. During his tenure, MDC completed 7 million square feet of industrial development, including the award-winning Thoroughbred Business Park in Ontario, California.

In 2010, MDC strategically merged with Sydney-based REIT, DEXUS, integrating the entrepreneurial talent of MDC with the financial resources of a $14 billion real estate giant. As managing director, Bryan led acquisitions and leasing for DEXUS’s core West Coast markets, including Seattle, Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire. Under his leadership, DEXUS acquired $80 million worth of new properties within the first 12 months of establishing its West Coast office.

At Summit Development, Bryan collaborates with Vice President Aaren Kisner to complete the firm’s latest project, the 261,000 square foot Class A industrial warehouse complex known as Wildomar Commerce Center. Together, they efficiently manage the business plan for this Riverside County project while actively seeking new development and investment opportunities for Summit Development.

Bryan graduated from Stanford University in 1983 with a B.A. in Political Science. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and a Certified Property Manager, designated by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Bryan grew up in Seattle, Washington and moved to Orange county in 1985. Bryan is married to his college sweetheart, and from his home in Newport Beach, he enjoys traveling far and wide to see his children and his five grandchildren.
